The Strummer Room Records journey began in 2018 with a small second-hand vinyl record shop on the top floor of an antique emporium in Banbury's Old Town. In February 2020, we opened a pop-up shop nearby, which allowed us to expand our offerings.

We relocated to Cherwell Business Village toward the end of the Covid lockdown. This move enabled us to diversify our stock and include a range of brand new vinyl, encompassing both new releases and classic re-issues. We also continued to maintain a large inventory of preowned records, cassettes CDs and books, catering to collectors and enthusiasts alike.

We actively participate in Record Store Day and National Album Day which enables us to connect with fellow music enthusiasts, offer exclusive releases, and contribute to the vibrant music community.

Strummer Room Records present regular live music events in collaboration with the cafe situated next door, supporting local artists and bands. We invite you to visit our store, explore our extensive vinyl collection, and immerse yourself in the world of music
